Chris Hall is currently a senior at UT Tyler, majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology. He hopes to eventually go to law school so he can pursue his dream of practicing criminal law here in Smith County. Chris has lived in Tyler his entire life and wants to be a part of the progress that Tyler has and will achieve. Chris specializes in self-defense and castle doctrine protections with additional interest in MMA, kickboxing, American Boxing, grappling, SAQ sports training, weight training, and nutrition. In his free time, Chris enjoys working on his eight acres of land in Bullard, which he hopes to someday develop, or on the two-acres in Whitehouse where he lives.

Stephanie Derfus is passionate about progressing clients through each phase of fitness using proper form and intensity. Her first love is yoga which she takes into training her clients, and even her cycling students. Stephanie's specialties and interests are yoga for athletes as well as teaching cycling and spin. She has three children: Daniel, 22; Luke, 20; and Lea, 15.

Karen Coats is one of the first trainers to start working at KH Fitness when we opened our doors in November 2000. She is experienced in teaching group circuit training and spin class. She looks forward to being in the gym everyday and enjoys helping clients of all ages and fitness levels. A self-described outside girl, Karen has fun mountain biking and hiking. She believes our bodies have more energy when we are active. Karen is the proud mother of a 25 year old son who recently graduated from Baylor Law School and a 20 year old daughter majoring in Kinesiology at UT Tyler.
